Andrew Knowles, Aka Rudeboy Da Niceguy Works On A Expected Hit With Platinum Producer DJ Blackout

By Kelly Blomquist

A young artist known as Rudeboy is coming up fast in the hip-hop, rap music scene. Born Andrew Knowles, he signed in June 2010 with Reign Entertainment. He's been moving through the Internet with music videos and now Rudeboy Da Niceguy works on a expected hit with platinum producer DJ Blackout. This new collaboration will hopefully bring what has only been a faucet little drip and make it a dam burst.

DJ Blackout played gigs nationally and soon met up with Jada Kiss and toured with him for several years as a deejay. Then, while playing at a club in South Beach, Florida, he linked up with JaRule and that sent his career into his favorite niche of music production. He started his own production company, Blackout Movement, and then joined up with Danny "Styles" Schofield in 2005. The duo has since won many Rhythm and Soul Music Awards.

Rudeboy has been christened by his fans as King of Da Club and New King of South Florida. As a up and coming hip-hop artist it is hoped that this new collaboration with Reign Entertainment and DJ Blackout, will shine more national light on this talented rapper. With a contagious combination of rap, techno and strong beat, the music definitely makes you need to get up and move your body.

Rudeboy moved from the Bahamas to the Miami-Dade County area with his mother at the age of three and watched her work two jobs to make ends meet. Still, she had time to encourage his enthusiasm for entertainment and he was penning his own music when he was 16. Mike Green of Platinum Records heard his work and showed an early interest; giving Knowles recording studio access. When Knowles turned 18 however, he relocated to Palm Beach County, he wasn't sure what direction his career would take.

Struggling and working two jobs, he met local music producers, Smif-N-Gunz and Rudeboy's music career was back on track and taking south Florida by storm. He's been working the local club and party circuit and sharing his unique style and abundant energy on stage.

For the time being, Rudeboy's music is available only through the Internet, but it can occasionally be heard now on a couple of radio stations. With his two new working partners, it's hoped that Rudeboy's music will soon be debuting on national radio stations and his albums will start showing up at the local record shops. It's time that south Florida stopped monopolizing his talent and let the rest of us have some fun. - 40728
